Official Rules for MCX Customer Satisfaction Sweepstakes

Privacy Act Statement

AUTHORITY: 10 U.S.C. 5013; 10 U.S.C. 5041; E.O. 13571; and MCO P1700.27B W Ch1.

Purpose: For entry into the Marine Corps Exchange sweepstakes, drawings, and contests.

Routine Uses: Information will be accessed by Marine Corps Community Services authorized personnel with a need-to-know to meet the purpose. In addition, information may be disclosed to current authorized contractors and vendors to accomplish a function related to this system of records. A complete list and explanation of applicable Routine Uses is included in SORN NM04060-1, "Navy and Marine Corps Exchange Sales Control and Security Files," which may be accessed HERE.

Disclosure: Voluntary; however, failure to provide requested information may prevent you from participating in this activity.

Purpose: To incentivize customers to provide feedback on their shopping experiences at the Marine Corps Exchange (MCX), a drawing for one (1) $250 and five (5) $50 MCX Gift Cards will be held monthly among authorized patrons who respond to the survey during that month.

How to Enter: To access this survey go to https://mymcx.com/survey and take the survey. First/Last Name, Phone Number, and Email Address must be provided within the survey to be entered into the drawing. Monthly drawing entries are limited to one per customer per month; however, feedback in the survey may be provided with each unique store experience. All entries must be received by midnight on the last day of each month. The MCX is not responsible for late, lost, delayed, incomplete, or misdirected online entries. The MCX is also not responsible for technical, hardware, or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmissions. All entries become the property of the MCX.

Selection of Winner: The winners will be selected in a random drawing on or about the 1st of each month. The winner will be contacted by the MCX and must come to the store and provide proof of MCX patron privileges to pick up the gift card. Please note only one person per family per year is eligible to win a $250 or $50 MCX Gift Card.

Conditions: Should the MCX be unable to identify, contact, or verify the winners, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner after 30 days. By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to release the MCX from any and all liability for injuries and/or damages of any kind sustained in connection with the award of the prize, traveling to, or participating in, any prize activity. By accepting the prize, the winner gives the MCX the unqualified right and permission to publish the winner's name and photo in MCX media as the winner of MCX sweepstakes. Prizes are nontransferable and nonredeemable for cash. All decisions shall be final and binding in all matters related to the drawing.

Eligibility: All authorized MCX customers 18 years or older (as of the date of entry) are eligible to participate in this drawing, except MCX and Marine Corps Community Services employees (MCCS), including military personnel assigned to the MCX and MCCS; and MCX customers who are employed by MCX advertising and promotion agencies and suppliers, (collectively the "Employees"). Immediate family members and/or those living in the same household as Employees are not eligible to participate in this sweepstakes. Customers authorized for MCX food and beverage purchases only are not eligible to participate in MCX sweepstakes. This sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.

Entry Information: The MCX is not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry information caused by Internet users’ technical or human error or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the sweepstakes, which may occur in the processing of the entries in this sweepstakes. MCX reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this sweepstakes drawing for any reason, including should viruses, bugs, or other impediments beyond the MCX's control corrupt the administration, security, or proper play of the sweepstakes.
