PURPOSE: Entry information will be used for Marine Corps MWR Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) contests to determine the winner and award the prize. In addition, information may be used for statistical analyses, advertising, publicity, and promotional purposes.
ROUTINE USES: Information may be disclosed externally to current authorized contractors and vendors to accomplish a function related to this system of records. How to Enter: Complete and submit the entry form for the named MWR giveaway event. Drawing entries are limited to one per customer per drawing. All entries must be received by 11:59PM EST on the last advertised day of the contest. The MWR is not responsible for any late, lost, delayed, incomplete, or misdirected online entries. The MWR is also not responsible for technical, hardware, or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmissions. All entries become the property of the MWR.
Selection of Winner: Winners will be selected in a random drawing; the frequency of such drawing(s) is provided on the giveaway event flyer. The likelihood of winning is dependent on the number of eligible entries. MWR will contact the winner using the information provided on the entry to award the prize. MWR will furnish the necessary winner information to MTNTough Fitness solely for the purpose of prize fulfillment. If a mailing address is required on the entry for delivery of the prize, MWR will use the contact information provided on the entry to confirm prize delivery information. The information collected by MTNTOUGH when individuals visit their website or make a purchase through their store is not controlled by or shared with the Marine Corps MWR program. Conditions: Should the MWR be unable to identify, contact, or verify a winner, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner after 30 days. By accepting the prize, winners agree to release the MWR from any and all liability for injuries and/or damages of any kind sustained in connection with the award of the prize, traveling to, or participating in, any prize activity. By accepting the prize, winners give the MWR the unqualified right and permission to publish the winner’s name and photo in MWR media as winner of the MWR contest. Prizes are nontransferable and are nonredeemable for cash. MWR contest decisions shall be final and binding in all matters related to the drawing.
Eligibility: No purchase is necessary to enter. All authorized MWR limited and unlimited patronage customers 18 years or older (as of the date of entry) are eligible to participate in this drawing, excluding MWR and Marine Corps Community Services employees, including military personnel assigned to the MWR and Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS); (collectively the “Employees”). Immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of Employees are not eligible to participate in in this sweepstakes.
