Contest Rules

Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS) and Marine Corps Exchange (MCX) contests are subject to the following conditions.

Privacy Act Statement

AUTHORITY: 10 U.S.C. 5013, 10 U.S.C. 5041, SECNAVINST 1700.12B; MCO P1700.27B W/CH1, DoD 7000.14-R Volume 13, and SORN NM01700-1.

PURPOSE: Entry information will be used to determine the winner and award the prize. In addition, information may be used for statistical analyses and advertising purposes.

ROUTINE USES: : Information may be disclosed externally to current authorized contractors and vendors to accomplish a function related to this system of records. DISCLOSURE: Voluntary; however, failure to provide the requested information may delay award notification or result in forfeiture of winner eligibility.

How to Enter: Complete and submit the entry form for the named MCCS giveaway event. Drawing entries are limited to one per customer per drawing. All entries must be received by 11:59PM EST on the last advertised day of the contest. The MCCS is not responsible for any late, lost, delayed, incomplete, or misdirected online entries. The MCCS is also not responsible for technical, hardware, or software failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmissions. All entries become the property of the MCCS.

Selection of Winner: Winners will be selected in a random drawing; the frequency of such drawing(s) is provided on the giveaway event flyer. The likelihood of winning is dependent on the number of eligible entries. MCCS will contact the winner using the information provided on the entry to award the prize. If a mailing address is required on the entry for delivery of the prize, MCCS will use the contact information provided on the entry to confirm prize delivery information.

Conditions: Should the MCCS be unable to identify, contact, or verify a winner, the prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate winner after 10days. By accepting the prize, winners agree to release the MCCS and MCX from any and all liability for injuries and/or damages of any kind sustained in connection with the award of the prize, traveling to, or participating in, any prize activity. Winners agree to sign a publicity release provided by MCCS to give the MCCS and MCX the unqualified right and permission to publish the winner’s name and photo in MCCS and MCX media as winner of the contest. Failure to sign a release will forfeit the prize. Prizes are nontransferable and are nonredeemable for cash. MCCS contest decisions shall be final and binding in all matters related to the drawing.

Eligibility: No purchase is necessary to enter. All authorized MCCS and MCX limited and unlimited patronage customers 18 years or older (as of the date of entry) are eligible to participate in this drawing, excluding MCX and Marine Corps Community Services employees, including military personnel assigned to the MCX and Marine Corps Community Services (MCCS); (collectively the “Employees”). Immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of Employees are not eligible to participate in in this sweepstakes. MCX customers authorized food and beverage purchases only are not eligible. This sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.

Entry Information: The MCCS and MCX are not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry information caused by Internet users’ technical or human error or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the sweepstakes, which may occur in the processing of the entries in this sweepstakes. MCCS and MCX reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel or suspend this sweepstakes drawing for any reason, including viruses, bugs, or other impediments beyond the MCCS and MCX control corrupt the administration, security, or proper play of the sweepstakes.

Prize Details and Restrictions:Prize consists of the following components for two (2) individuals: round-trip airfare, hotel accommodations including daily breakfast, full travel price protection, private round-trip transfers between airport and hotel, one (1) private Belleau Wood tour departing from Paris, (1) private Normandy tour departing from Paris, and two (2) optional excursions arranged by ITT Cherry Point.

The prize does not include: personal spending money, meals other than daily breakfast, travel insurance, or transportation between the winner’s residence and the departure airport. All costs and expenses not expressly stated herein as included in the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.

Travel must be booked through Crystal Coast Travel & Leisure (ITT) located at MCAS Cherry Point and must be booked by 1 June 2026.

Other Conditions: Winners are solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining all required and valid travel documentation, including but not limited to passports and visas. Winners are also solely responsible for the payment of all applicable federal, state, and local taxes, as well as any expenses not expressly included as part of the prize. MCCS/MCX shall not be held liable for any injuries, accidents, losses, theft, or damage to personal property incurred during the trip.
